For over 30 years, Dr. Koday has served as the Chief Dental Officer of the Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic, one of the largest community health center dental programs in the country, transitioning it from two dental clinics with six chairs to a dental program with eleven clinics and over 110 dental operatories, in two states. In addition, he developed the Northwest Dental Residency, a CODA accredited Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency and has served as its Director for the past 11 years.
Dr. Koday has been appointed to a variety of state and national dental leadership positions including as a Governor appointee to the Washington State Dental Quality Assurance Commission for ten years, Chair of the WA State Oral Health Coalition, and the American Dental Association’s Council of Advocacy for Access and Prevention, among others. He is also the recipient of numerous awards including the NACHC Samuel U. Rodgers Achievement Award and the NNOHA Outstanding Clinician’s Award.
