Prior to serving at Dickinson College as an Associate Professor in the Department of International Business and Management, Dr. Sarcone enjoyed a healthcare career spanning more than twenty-five years as a senior financial and operations leader with experience in rural health, multi-specialty medical groups, and large health systems. He continues to be an active educator, researcher, consultant and volunteer, frequently partnering with federally qualified health centers and health conversion foundations to address a broad array of health services issues. Dr. Sarcone has served as principal investigator on grant-funded projects exploring state, national and international health-related topics, and was instrumental in the design and development of Dickinson College’s Health Studies Certificate Program. With each engagement, he applies his knowledge, experience and deep understanding of current management theory and practice to meet and exceed client expectations. Dr. Sarcone earned his master’s in business administration from the University of Pittsburgh’s Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business and his doctoral degree from the School of Public Affairs, Pennsylvania State University.
